The Observatory and Laboratory on Literature of Formation

promote:
A free theatre and writing workshop dedicated to self-expression in foreign-language and multilingual contexts. Through theatre-based exercises and creative writing practices, participants will be invited to explore identity, language, and forms of co-existence on stage. The workshop aims to foster encounters between Italian and international students through an inclusive and participatory tool such as theatre.

Eligibility and participation
The workshop is free of charge and open to Italian and international students of all language proficiency levels. No prior experience is required. Participation in both sessions is required. Places are limited; registration is mandatory.
The workshop will be led by Ilaria Tucci and Silvia Manciati.
Ilaria Tucci is a researcher and theatre practitioner, with an MA in Acting and a PhD in Performance Studies. Her work brings together theatre, writing, and co-creative practices in contexts of migration and multilingualism, with particular attention to themes of co-existence, diversity, and inclusion.
Silvia Manciati is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Osservatorio-Laboratorio sulla Letteratura di formazione at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Alongside her academic work, she maintains a sustained practice in theatre and movement education, leading workshops aimed in particular at adolescents and at-risk contexts, with a specific focus on gender-related issues.
